The New World

‘THE NEW WORLD’ is a spectacular journey across the Americas to reveal the surprising abundance of nature and little known civilisations that lived there before Columbus. By contrasting parallel and often far less advanced moments in Europe, we’ll uncover a very different ecological and cultural story of American history than previously thought.

With the arrival of the Europeans in 1492, the New World and the Old changed forever… sparking a vast exchange of foods, animals, plants, disease and ideas… marking it one of the most significant ecological events of the past millennium.

New revelations of ‘THE NEW WORLD’ will dramatically explore what the Americas were like before Europeans set foot on their soil, when their cultures met, their ideas about exploitation of land and wildlife clashed and what happened when they merged to become our world today.
