At the heart of the eternal city lies the Holy See, the centre of catholic faith. A very peculiar world – closed and secretive. A magic place, shrouded in rumours and stories, some of which are true but most of which are hearsay. Only few bits of information emerge from this quiet enclave into the public domain.

This film is a voyage of discovery revealing every day life at the centre of the Catholic Church and the people that run “Operation Vatican”. In a very personal and lively way they share their lives, usually led far away from the limelight, with the viewer. A trip to the Vatican that will make you chuckle and smile.
